Though the young and beautiful TV actress Mrunal Thakur's debut TV show Khamoshiyaan ended within a few months of its launch, it hasn't stopped the actress from climbing the ladder of success.
The actress, who is currently playing the role of Bulbul in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was on cloud nine when the superstar of Marathi cinema Bharat Jhadhav told her that she is the Katrina Kaif of Marathi industry."I was not appointed when Khamoshiyaan went off-air within few days of its launch as I learnt a lot during that show. Though the show shut down in three months, I worked on the show for approximately one and half year.
It was a great learning experience as I had some of the biggest names of Marathi entertainment industry working on that show. They helped me a lot and also encouraged me to Marathi films and I've already done three films. My film Hello Nandan whcih released some time back got good response in Pune and in fact I got one of the best compliments from none other than Bharat Jadhav who is a superstar of Marathi cinema. He told me that I am the Katrina Kaif of Marathi cinema," says an elated Mrunal.
Mrunal, who wants to do more films in Marathi and also wants to try her hands in Bollywood says language is not a barrier for her and she will never leave films for TV or TV for films, "I want to do films in Hindi also but I am taking each step as it comes.

I know it will happen someday, I am not in a hurry. Language is not a barrier for me. But I've realised one thing that I can't leave TV for films. Whatever I do I can never leave TV and I realised this after my Khamoshiyaan came to an end so I took up Arjun. So I can't leave films for TV nor TV for films. I will continue doing both the mediums as I enjoy it," concludes the actress.
