Director Gautham Menon, who is wrapping up his much-delayed film Achcham Enbathu Madamaiyada, will appear in a cameo in Dhanush's directorial debut Power Paandi.
Dhanush, who is currently shooting for his upcoming trilogy Vada Chennai, has always expressed his desire to work as a director.
While the shooting of the film is going at a rapid progress, reports now suggest that director Gautham Menon is likely to play a cameo in the film.
The film starring Raj Kiran in the lead role will have Dhanush playing a cameo in the film.
Power Paandi, which is touted to be based on the life of stuntmen, will have music by Sean Roldan.
The film also stars Prasanna and Chaya Singh in pivotal roles. However, the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon. Produced by Dhanush's home production Wunderbar Films, the film had gone on floors recently.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's Thodari, which hit the screens on September 22, opened to poor reception from the audience and critics. Dhanush awaits the release of his political thriller Kodi.
He will also be seen in director Gautham Menon's Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
