Actress Priya Bapat is suffering from a severe throat infection and has been advised complete voice rest by the doctor for the next couple of days.
Priya has been busy with the promotions of her upcoming film 'Andhali Koshimbir' for the past few days. However, the actress caught the throat infection and had to cancel a few promotional events due to the same. The actress even apologised to her fans on a micro-blogging website for missing the events due to health issues. The actress messaged us, "Have got bad throat infection. Doctor has asked me to have complete voice rest. Hence won't be able to speak for next three days." When inquired further about her health she explained, "Due to bad cough blood vessels in the vocal cord are burst. Therefore I am on medication and voice rest."
We hope to see Priya back in action soon. Apart from 'Andhali Koshimbir', the actress also has 'Happy Journey' in the pipeline which will release in September.
