Although the release of Raveena Tandon’s highly anticipated comeback film — Shobhna’s 7
Nights — is nowhere in sight, the actor is busy concentrating on other projects.
If
everything goes as per plan, she will return to the big screen with Anurag
Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. Now, we’ve been informed that she is also set to work
on director Onir’s upcoming film, which she has just signed.
A source reveals, "She
has agreed to do it because she likes the script. Onir is known to make films
on hard-hitting subjects. This one, however, is a love story. Raveena doesn’t
want to take up too much work, and since she’s already finished Anurag’s film,
this one fits well in her schedule."
The 39-year-old actor will
be seen alongside Sanjay Suri in the yet-untitled film. According to the
insider, the shoot dates haven’t been finalised yet, but the makers are
expected to start sometime this year.
Raveena, who is currently holidaying in Los Angeles, USA, with her children, confirms the news, saying, "Onir’s film has an interesting plot and it’s something that I took an instant liking towards."
